Recent Events, Joe Clark

In October 2004, Joe Clark led The Commonwealth Observer delegation to Cameroon (pictures to the right show Joe Clark's participation in the electoral process), to monitor the presidential elections that took place there. He was the first serving Prime Minister in Canadian history to visit Cameroon.

Most recently, Joe Clark has been appointed a teaching position at American University in Washington, DC, for the academic year beginning September 1, 2004.

Retiring after twenty-five years in Canada’s Parliament, Clark is the first Distinguished Statesman-in-Residence in the School of International Service and is Senior Fellow in the Center for North American Studies.

Mr. Clark’s combination of integrity, commitment, experience and fiery passion for the betterment of Canada is the foundation of his presentations.

In conjunction with his vast understanding of the country and the world, Joe Clark is ready to help make Canada wealthier, more unified, and more influential in world affairs.
